The "Bottle Copies" sold on this website contain distilled water only. The water has been subjected to a non-material process, similar to processes used to produce homeopathic remedies, which is believed by some researchers to imprint a subtle energy signature into the water. The presence of this signature cannot be confirmed by chemical or standard testing. No claim is made with regard to the effect of the reputed imprint.

1. What are Bottle Copies?

Bottle copies are amber glass bottles, filled with pure filtered water, that have been electrically charged with the energetic signatures, frequencies or patterns of physical specimens such as: vitamins; herbs; toxins; heavy metals; anatomical or microbiological samples. Almost any physical item can be made into a “Bottle Copy” using techniques similar to those used to make homoeopathic medicines. The important point is that the bottles contain no physical specimens. The contents are simply pure filtered water, making them safe to work with in various complementary therapy techniques.

2. What are Bottle Copies used for?

Bottle Copies are suitable for use in many complementary therapies that use subtle energy testing or balancing techniques. These include kinesiology and various bioresonance devices such as the VEGA, BIOCOM 2000 and BEST. However, the selections of samples that are offered on this site have been primarily selected for people who are interested in the naturopathic thechniques invented by Dr Hulda Clark PhD. These techniques are commonly known as “Plate Zapping”, “Homeography” and “Syncrometer testing”.

Dr Clark’s research, theories and medical claims are highly controversial and are not supported by conventional medical science. For this reason, whilst Bottle Copies Ltd recognises the useful role energetic testing and balancing techniques can play as part of a broader, integrated healthcare protocol, we do not adopt, endorse or support the specific health or disease related theories, claims or therapies proposed by Dr Clark in her published works.

Therefore, we are unable to offer specific advice on how our products might be used by customers interested in Dr Clark’s Therapy. For those seeking further information on her protocols, all we can suggest is that you first refer you to her published works, available through Amazon.com booksellers (links to the most recent editions are available in our “Educational Books” category). Alternatively, for further information and lists of international practitioners, the following external resources are available through the “Dr Clark Information Center”. 3. Why should I use Bottle Copies instead of physical specimens?

There are a number of potential problems with using physical samples for any complementary testing techniques. Vitamins, herbs, amino acids and other nutrients begin to decompose within a relatively short period of time (weeks or months). Testing kits must therefore be replaced regularly. Fresh anatomical samples decompose even faster, becoming dangerous in the process. Fresh microbiological samples are inherently dangerous and therefore available only to government certified laboratories.

There are also problems with using preserved samples. Before bottle copy techniques were available, microscope slides of educational microbiological or anatomical samples were used. However, in terms of energetic testing, practitioners could never be sure that the reactions obtained using these samples were the result of the intended sample, or as a result of a cross reaction with any of the hundreds of chemicals used in the manufacture of the microscope slide (e.g. fixatives, preservatives, glues and dyes). Also, as supplies were dependant on a very limited number of educational microscope slide manufacturers, the limited range of samples and regular shortfalls in stock meant we were not able to consistently and reliably supply kits to our customers.

Therefore, when Dr Clark’s technique of "Bottle Copies" became available, as a way of conveniently preserving the unique energetic signature of a substance, without the risk of decomposition, contamination or pollution, the concept was immediately embraced by practitioners.

4. What water do you use to make the Bottle Copies?

According to the instructions given by Dr Clark in her “Prevention of Cancers” book p.113, all our water is laboratory grade, carbon filtered, distilled water, certified to zero parts per million.

5. What type of bottles do you use?

The bottles we use are all 10ml amber glass bottles, sealed for transport with an internal fine-hole polyethylene dropper and a tamper-proof cap. They are approximately 2.3 cm diameter and 6.7 cm high. When filled with water, they weigh about 47 grams.

6. How is the energy imprinted onto the water?

In her published works, Dr Clark describes how to create bottle copies of physical items such as herbs, how to make further copies of samples and how to combine certain bottles during copying. The technique involves a zapper, an aluminium plate and a positive lead connecting the two (see Q.11 for further details). We began using these methods in 2001 when Dr Clark first discussed them in the Syncrometer Laboratory Manual in her descriptions of Plate Zapping (p.113).

At that time, Dr Clark kindly provided us with a wide selection of her own microbiological and anatomical bottle copy samples to work with. These original samples from Dr Clark provided the basis of our work for more than 4 years. Whilst Dr Clark's copying technique is an ideal low tech, low cost approach for our customers to use, there are various theoretical and practical problems that make it less than ideal for copying samples as regularly we do for our customers:

  1. Any mistake of copying, or in storage of our original master samples, for example exposing them to a strong EM field, zapping them too long, or simply dropping and smashing the original bottle, would damage or destroy the original sample that our customers reply upon us for.
  2. Reports by some advanced practitioners of Dr Clark’s therapy began to cause us concern. They reported that in the process of them copying the same master sample hundreds of times, the original energetic pattern was gradually weakened and the carrier wave frequency of the zapper (34 KHz) gradually became more dominant. Whilst this level of mass copying would not be of concern to most of our customers, as providers of original master samples it is of paramount importance to us that our original samples should be of the very best quality.
  3. A theoretical concern was always that some of the original samples, copied from anatomical or microbiological microscope slides might cross react in energetic testing with any of the chemicals used in production of the slides. Whilst in practice syncrometer testers tell us that this does not happen, on a theoretical level we still consider it far from ideal. We have always and will continue to strive for absolute purity in the energetic samples we provide.
  4. An additional problem was also the precision of anatomical samples. Further information is not availalbe on microscope slides from specified organs. For example, was the ovary slide from a left or a right ovary; an upper or lower section of the duodenum? Whilst Dr Clark provides a means of adjusting the copy using inductors and capacitors, to make it more left or more right, higher or lower, this technique requires different numbers of capacitors and inductors for different organs. We therefore considered it less than ideal because this factor introduced a further variable into our samples, as well as the theoretical potential for pollution of the sample by the metals and chemicals used in manufacture of the inductors and capacitors

We began looking for a solution to these four potential problems. In 2003, Bottle Copies Ltd formed a strategic partnership with World Development Systems Ltd, aUK based company who had been energetically sampling collections of items, using their proprietary technology, for more than 10 years. Their database of over 300,000 samples included many of the energetic samples that Dr Clark discusses in her works and much, much more. Through our partnership, WDS agreed to source the energetic patterns we required that were not currently on their database, and to make the samples available for bottle copy production using their e-Lybra system. The e-Lybra system converts the energetic samples stored in the WDS digital database into an analogue signal that is in turn imprinted onto the bottled water.

The process is analagous to modern music production. At the recording studio, using specialised technology, live analogue music is sampled and recorded onto a digital medium, computer memory and eventually a CD. With the right technology (a CD player, speakers and amplifier), this digital CD recording can be decoded and the original analogue music rebroadcast through stereo speakers.

For further information on the e-Lybra system, please CONTACT US

The permanent digital database developed by WDS for use with the e-Lybra resolves all of the potential problems we noted above. The database cannot be corrupted without this being obvious, and in the event of damage, can be immediately restored from WDS Ltd’s master database.

  1. Our partnership with WDS has massively increased the number of samples we are able to provide you.
  2. The digital database provides reliability and repeatability. Identical original samples every time, without the risk of gradual introduction of zapper carrier wave frequencies or damage by extraneous EM fields.
  3. The samples are not developed from microscope slides, preserved samples or representative (and often overlapping) Rife frequencies. The samples are pure, full spectrum patterns, generated by WDS proprietary technologies to be as close as possible to the full living energetic spectrum of the original item.
  4. The precision afforded by the e-Lybra’s incredible database means there is no need for the use of inductors or capacitors. Samples are generated directly from precise anatomical lists. Request a left ovary from us and this is precisely the energetic sample we will provide you with.

Before putting this system into production, to check the reliability of this technology we spent two years having hundreds of samples tested by advanced syncrometer testers around the world, including Dr Clark herself. We needed to check that the samples were pure, that they resonated with identical anatomical or microscope slides, and that they did not resonate with unrelated items. We also needed to check that the imprinting of the bottles was positive offset (no negative DC voltage spikes) and that the patterning lasted for a sufficient length of time. In every case, these initial tests were 100% successful. Indeed, our practitioners report that the original samples we provided back in 2003 are still viable to this day, which means if well cared for, our bottle copies should have a lifespan of at least 5 years. Completely satisfied with these tests, in late 2005 we began using the e-Lybra system for all Bottle Copy production.

7. Do you test each of your bottles after production?

No. Since the success of our reliability tests using the e-Lybra system (see above Q.6), including confirmation and subsequent approval by Dr Clark herself, we are sure of the repeatable and reliable quality of our bottle copies. This has been one of the greatest advantages of working with the e-Lybra system. The fixed digital database, and the automatic self-checks run by the e-Lybra hardware, makes the system we have invested in essentially foolproof. As a company policy, paying for syncrometer tests to be performed on every bottle we produce would dramatically increase costs of production and subsequently the cost of purchasing by you, our valued customers. Therefore, in order to keep costs down, our policy has been to not test individual bottles.

However, this does not mean we are without quality controls. Quality control checks are provided by the worldwide list of practitioners that we work with (including Dr Clark), who regularly order and test with our samples. It is this general quality control system that helped us to discover early on an occasional problem of damage to the bottles during shipment to some areas of the USA (see Q.10 below). Whilst this damage is entirely reversible, it is important to note that individual bottle testing after production would not have picked up on this problem.

8. How long do the bottles last for?

There is no definitive answer to this question. The bottles are sensitive to strong electromagnetic fields, so the most important factor in determining the lifespan of “Bottle Copies” are the conditions under which they are stored. Careful storage of bottles is the responsibility of each customer. To assist you with this, we have provided some general guidelines that are routinely used by homoeopaths and by Dr Clark (see Q.9 below).

So if properly stored, how long can they last for? As previously discussed in Q.7, it has been over 5 years since our initial trials of the e-Lybra system as a means of energetically imprinting the “Bottle Copy” samples. The practitioners we worked with assure us that the samples we produced and tested at that time are still viable and in use to this day. Therefore, with no definitive expiry date available at this time, all we can suggest is that provided the samples are properly cared for, they do appear to last for at least 5 years.

9. How should I store Bottle Copies at home?

The Bottle Copies must always be protected from strong electromagnetic fields. In the modern home there are many electromagnetic hazards that you should be aware of. These include; therapeutic magnets (used in Dr Clarks therapy and “Food Zappicators”); mains electricity junction boxes and fuse boxes; televisions; speakers; microwave ovens, portable telephones; cell phones and wireless internet routers.

The basic principal of electromagnetic fields is that they decrease exponentially the further you move away from the source. This means that as long as bottles are kept 1 - 1.5m or 3 to 5ft from the above sources, the fields should be sufficiently weak that they do not significantly damage the bottles. Generally, the further they are stored from these sources the better.

Standard advice for all homoeopathic remedies is also to keep them away from extremes of heat, cold and light, and of course to keep them out of reach of children. We feel it is appropriate to suggest the same advice for Bottle Copies. Please store them in a cupboard, at room temperature, away from strong sunlight and out of reach of children.

Please also bear in mind that Bottle Copies are made of glass. Over the years we have accidentally dropped many bottles and found them highly resistant to smashing. However, this is obviously something you should be cautious of. Please store the bottles in a secure box or tray to reduce the likelihood of dropping and smashing the bottles.

We are often asked if it matters whether the bottles touch each other during storage. We have not found this to be problem. Bottles can temporarily transfer their patterns to another bottle if shaken vigorously whilst touching each other. However, whilst this could be a potential problem during transit (see below Q.10) it is not a primary concern of bottle storage.

Whilst it is not essential to keep bottles from touching during storage, it is often useful to create dividers to organise your bottles, particularly as your collection grows. For customers that are good at handicrafts, the cheapest and most flexible solution is to cut 6cm (2½”) high strips of cardboard, of the appropriate length and width for your storage tray. Then cut regular slits into these strips at 3cm (1¼”) intervals to allow the cardboard strips to form a “criss-cross” lattice structure. Small self-adhesive circular labels can then be applied to the lid of our bottles, with either numbers or shorthand names written on them. This aids quick identification of any bottles stored in this way. For those not so good at handicrafts, a useful alternative is to purchase plastic bottle racks from laboratory suppliers in your own country.

10. Can the bottles be damaged during transport?

After manufacture, all bottles are immediately wrapped in aluminium foil, 2-3 layers thick. The foil prevents the bottles from energetically contaminating each other during transport. It has long been known that by holding two unshielded energetic samples in the palm of your hand and shaking them vigorously, it is possible to temporarily transfer the pattern of one to the other. The effect is not permanent. However, because of the potential for vibration during transport, whilst the bottles are in contact with one another, we have chosen to shield every bottle with aluminium foil to protect them from any chance of being mixing during transit. The aluminium foil also appears to provide some degree of protection against the most common types of scanning equipment used by international customs clearance officers.

Bottles are then packed into a cardboard box with at least 1 to 2” of biodegradable foam packaging on every side to distance the bottles from any low level contact sources of electromagnetic radiation. This packing style, utilising aluminium foil and foam packaging is standard practice for shipping homoeopathic remedies.

However, the latest research by Dr Clark suggests that this packing technique no longer provides absolute protection from some of the latest US security scanning devices. So far we have not had any problems reported to us by customers in Europe, Canada or further afield, but we have had a couple of reports of shipments to the USA where the bottles have been affected by some unknown scanning device at customs.

Our research with Dr Clark has shown that the only packaging material that provides full protection from this problem is sheet Mu-metal, at least 0.004” thick. We considered using this material to package every bottle, but concluded that it was simply impractical. Customers could easily cut themselves on the edges of the sheet metal, and at a cost of more than $8 to package each bottle, the final price of $16 to $20 per bottle was simply unacceptable.

Though most of our shipments do not experience any problems, because of the potential for shipping damage Dr Clark has now issued new instructions on how to test for and then reverse the problem if any bottles have been affected (see “Cure and Prevention of all Cancers ”, p.200):

“Shipping and Travelling With bottles:

Ship your bottles packaged in air bubble wrap first and then aluminium foil for airplane shipment or in the middle of your suitcases wrapped in clothing. Label them all "homeographic pure water". Test them on syncrometer when they arrive.

Do two tests on each bottle that has travelled or been shipped by air:

  1. Test each bottle for resonance with its own kind [an identical sample made by copying the initial bottle if necessary]. It should be positive.
  2. Test each bottle for resonance with a different kind [any other bottle copy sample]. It should be negative.

If both tests fail: set each bottle, one at a time, on the copy plate without a shield [connected by the positive red lead only]. Give it 20 seconds of the usual frequency from a zapper. Turn the zapper off before taking the bottle off. Repeat these two tests.” This technique appears to restore or reinvigorate any original sample after damage by air transit or travelling with bottles.

So what does this mean for our customers?

If you are a confident syncrometer tester then our advice is clearly to test all of the bottles that are sent to you, as described above by Dr Clark. Then follow the restoration procedure if any bottles are found to be damaged.

If you are not a confident syncrometer tester, it does no harm to proactively treat the bottles once, as described above, to make sure that your samples are strong. It is the cheapest and easiest way for everyone to ensure that all of their samples are active before use.

The above advice is especially important for anyone that intends to travel with our products by air. Each time you travel, on arrival you should retest and if necessary restore the bottles before further use. However, we must caution you that if you are forced to repeatedly restore your samples in this way, we would expect it to shorten their usable lifespan.

If you intend to travel frequently by air with bottle copies, then we would suggest that you first make copies of all the master samples we have provided. Store the master samples safely at home, away from all electromagnetic fields (see Q.9). When you travel, only ever take your own working copies. Then, if these samples are lost, broken or irreversibly damaged by electromagnetism, you can always make fresh copies using the master samples that are safely stored back home.

11. How do I make working copies from your master samples?

As discussed in Q.10 above, we strongly suggest that you treat all of the samples you purchase from us as master samples. They should be safely stored (see Q.9 for advice) and only brought out from storage to produce a fresh working copy. The master sample should then be immediately replaced in the safe storage area. Quite simply, this system provides a safety net to protect against any accidental breakages, electromagnetic exposures, or mistakes when performing some of Dr Clark's more complicated copying techniques. “Damaged” working copies can always be thrown away and fresh working copies created from the safely stored master samples.

Dr Clark’s explanation of how to do produce a working copy from our master samples can be found on p.189-190 of “The Cure and Prevention of all Cancers”:

How to make Homeographic Drops

“You will need a source of Positive offset square waves, at least 30KHz, close to 50% duty cycle and at least 9 volts from a fresh battery. This is what a zapper produces, so you may already have the most important item. You will need a 3½ inch square aluminium sheet about 1/32” or 1/16” thick, called the plate. You may find the aluminium at a hardware store; just cut to size and drill a hole for a small screw in the middle. The plate is fastened to a plastic stand such as a disposable food container. A wire comes from the Positive [RED] output of the zapper and connects to the plate. The Negative [BLACK] output is not used. If it is accidentally used, the signal arriving at the antenna-like plate would be grounded to the Negative side and disappear. There would be no results.

To use the copy maker, place a bottle of plain pure water on the plate. The bottle may be brown glass or brown polyethylene plastic. The brown colour keeps out intense light, which could switch the polarization of the contents at any time. It should contain about 10 to 15ml (2 to 3 tsp.) water. Place the item you want to copy [our Master Sample] right beside it. Surround each bottle being used with a metal tube as a shield (aluminium or aluminium-steel pipe) to make the effect stronger, although it is not strictly necessary. The two items or tubes must touch. Now zap for 20 seconds (this is not precise but should not be longer than 30 seconds). The plain water now becomes a [working] bottle copy [carrying the same energetic pattern as the master sample]…..

Many purposes can be achieved with electronically made bottle-copies. You can use them when testing with the syncrometer or when plate zapping… Further, the water copy itself can be taken by mouth in the form of drops under the tongue. But for this purpose you should make your own so you could be sure of the water quality…. Other goals can be achieved too.”

An example set up is shown below:

Simple additional advice that we would offer based on our own past experiences is:

In order to prevent mistakes, before beginning the process of copying, always label the “blank” water bottle with its intended energetic pattern. Collections of master bottles, blank water bottles and working copies can quickly become confused when making multiple Bottle Copies at the same time. Therefore, we advise you to be proactive and highly organised in your labelling of samples.

Our advice is also to keep the labels as high up the bottle as possible (close to the bottle neck). This is purely theoretical, precautionary advice, but as discussed in Q.3, the potential exists for “pollution” of the energetic sample by extraneous dyes, glues or other chemicals used in production of self-adhesive labels. As the lowest ¼” or ½” of the bottle appears to be the most active portion of the bottle during copying procedures or syncrometer testing, as a precaution to keep the energetic sample as pure as possible, we advise that you keep the lower ½“ of the bottle clear of any extraneous items such as labels.
